FREE Jay Hollis CD's!!!

The weather has been good, my allergies have been bad. I should be used to it by now but I'm not. I sure can't wait to get over all of this. So, my career seems to be more like the weather has been, very nice! The radio tour has been working and I gain momentum every day. It has been a lot of work but I can't stop now. Now I just have to go harder every day and promote more than ever. Speaking of promoting, I am now offering free stuff from my website.

You can download my single "One More Day" for free straight off my website to your computer! Yes, it really is free! This is a good way for me to get a lot of folks to hear my music. But, I am not stopping there. There is a way to get my entire CD for free also. I have added a new T-shirt design to the collection and if you buy a shirt (any design), you will get a free CD along with it! This is a great deal and it allows you to get all that merchandise for a very small amount of money. Again, I am just trying to get my music to a lot of ears!

I have had great luck when people hear my album. The DJ's and program directors at the radio stations have all welcomed my songs with open arms after they hear them. That is what I want you to do also, so I am offering this deal to make that happen. I am very proud of this album and I want you to have it. I am also very honored to have been voted in the top 10 country CD's of 08' - 09' along side: George Strait, Kathy Mattea, Brad Paisley, Patty Loveless, Emmylou Harris, and George Jones! Please visit my website www.JayHollisMusic.com to take advantage of this great deal and I hope you love what you get!

I hope your Memorial Day weekend went well. Mine did! I had a great show and a great time in Stephenville, TX Friday night. We played at the Rockin P Bar and if you haven't been there, you should go. It's a great, clean place full of friendly people. We did an acoustic show with Jai on drums and Leslee on fiddle along with me. The sound was perfect in that building and it was cool to play my songs stripped down. Not me, the music!

I look forward to playing there again, and soon I hope. I will be performing at the Crazy Horse Saloon this coming Saturday night May 30th, in Wichita Falls, TX. You will want to make it out to this one if you have the chance. We have a really good show planned and the crowd is always good at this venue. There is a good dance floor that usually stays full but there is plenty of room for everyone.

I would like to take this time to thank everyone who has, or still is, serving our country. I appreciate you more with every year that goes by and understand your importance more than ever. It takes a special person to do what you do and you are all heroes. I can't imagine what it would be like to be in your shoes, fighting on enemy grounds to protect people back home that you don't even know. Please know that you are appreciated and loved. Please stay safe and thank you very much for doing what you do!

Great Radio Tour Week!

Well, I just got in last night from touring the radio stations for another week. What a great week I had too! I got some really great interviews from the stations and I am making a lot of new friends on these trips. It's easy to make friends when they are playing my songs on the radio and giving me interviews. There are a lot of good people out there. They give me hope. Then there is Jai! Just kidding you Jai. We have a blast out on the road together acting like a couple of teenagers! I can't wait for next week.

One More Day is still climbing the charts and getting more and more recognition all the time. You can see new pictures and videos from the trip on my website at www.JayHollisMusic.com. You can also sign up to win an I-Pod loaded with my entire album. I also just noticed that you can download "One More Day" for free by just visiting the website and clicking on the free download tab! Might as well, it's free!

I have some great shows coming up. I play tonight at the Rockin P Bar in Stephenville, TX at 9 pm. This is a great place to hang out and listen to my tunes so I hope you will be there. Next Saturday, May 30th, I am playing at the Crazy Horse Saloon in Wichita Falls, TX. This place is awesome and it is growing like a weed. This looks like it will be a huge show so please come out and see me there. I promise you will have a blast with the big friendly crowd that will be there. Keep checking back for more, something new is always happening and I don't want you to miss it!

Congratulations Sam!

First of all, I want to say congratulations to my friend Sam Keen for your success on "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire"! Great job! I knew you would do well so I'm not surprised at the money you won. I would probably have to use all of my "life lines" on the first question and even then wouldn't get it! You have been on national TV more than anyone I know now. Congratulations again and good luck in the future!

I have been writing some new songs since I have been home and I can't wait to get them finished. I think I have some good ones in the works that will be on my next CD. I am going to record one of them very soon and release it by itself. I will let you know when that happens. I have more shows coming up since I have been climbing the charts. I will be in Stephenville, TX at the Rockin P Bar this Friday night and in Wichita Falls, TX at the Crazy Horse Saloon on May 30th. They are both going to be great shows so come out and see us if you can.

Please keep requesting "One More Day" at your radio station. Many stations have been giving me a lot of support and requests will help keep that going. I noticed I was in front of Toby Kieth, Darius Rucker, and Miranda Lambert and I think that is so cool! I want to keep it moving up so I will on the road again promoting my single. Stay in touch and check my website often for tour dates and updated pictures and video footage. We even added a bull riding video of me from the Mesquite, TX PRCA rodeo!!

Moving Up The Charts!

I want to thank all the good people of Nocona, TX for coming out yesterday and having a good time even though the weather was a little crazy. I had a blast playing for you. I was able to spend some time with friends and do some catching up and I made several new friends and fans too. I also want to thank Josh and Danielle for supper at Times Forgotten. It was wonderful! Wow, what a great place to go eat. If you are ever in the area, you should go downtown and eat there. It's very easy to find.

I am now at #77 on the charts so I am still moving up! Thank you for the requests. Please keep doing it. I will be continuing to travel to the stations promoting this song this week so keep your ears open for me at your station. If you hear me on the air, please call in and say hello when I'm there. I would love that.

I will be playing this Friday night in Stephenville, TX at the Rockin P Bar. It will be me, Leslee (fiddle), and Cory (guitar). This is going to be an awesome show to see! It is really a great mix of instruments but still a little raw. It's gonna be good so come on out if you can and see us!

There sure is a lot happening in the world right now. It's too bad that my favorite NBA team got beat out of the second round of the playoffs. I'm still proud of them for getting that far. School is almost out and is out for college. I remember those days.......barely! Maybe I had too much fun back then and that's why I struggle to remember.

I have been working on a couple of new songs lately. I think they are both keepers. One might turn out to be a single off my next album, the other one might just be for fun and not for public consumption! I'll let you know when I'm done. Thanks for all of your support with my song "One More Day" on the radio. Please keep requesting it. That will be very helpful. Don't forget that I will be performing this Saturday night in Nocona, TX at the Fun Days festival. It will be a lot of fun for all ages so please come out and see me. I better go, I have to go to DFW Airport and send Tony and Glenda off. Ya'll have fun!!

Nocona Festival!

I feel like I live in England now the way the weather has been lately. It's been cool and foggy almost everyday this week and everything is green. I better not get used to it. It probably won't be long before we see 100 degrees again!

The radio tour has done great things for me so far and "One More Day" is moving steady up the Texas Music Charts! It has taken a lot of work from a lot of people to make this happen and I appreciate everyone involved. If you want to help, you can request my song everywhere you go! I still have a lot of places to go and visit to promote this song. I am also getting very busy with live shows along the way. Things are starting to fall into place and it feels really good to be rewarded for the effort.

I will be playing an acoustic show this Saturday night in Nocona, TX for Nocona Fun Days! This is an annual event and it is a big deal and a whole lot of fun! Please come out and see me there if you can. I will be playing around 6 pm. I look forward to seeing you there!

Moving Up The Charts!

I have just learned that my single "One More Day" is climbing the charts! Thank you to everyone for requesting it at your radio station! This song seems to be really catching everyone's attention and I am thrilled about it. As I have said in past blogs, I have been many miles the last few weeks pushing this single on radio. I have met a lot of good people who are getting behind me and making this happen. It really comes down to requests though. If you call the station and request my song more times, the station will play it more. This will really move that song up the charts.

I stayed at home last week to get some things in order, but I will be back out on the road very soon to keep visiting the stations. I still have a lot of places to visit. Texas is a huge state in case you didn't already know that! I have lived here my whole life and I am still amazed of the size of this great state. It is fun to get to see all the different scenery Texas has to offer. There is a little bit of everything here and it's all beautiful. So check out my tour schedule and come out and see me when I get to your area!

I'm not sure what happened to the website but it's back now. Anyway, I've just been hanging around the house this week preparing to hit the road again and go visit more radio stations. I still have a whole bunch of stations to go to. There are still parts of Oklahoma, Louisiana, and the majority of Texas I still haven't seen. I will get right on that.

Things are really going well with "One More Day". I have been told by Big Jim that the Outlaw gets a lot of requests for it. Thank you to everyone for requesting my music. You can also request online at most of the stations that I have been added to. They broadcast the same program online so you can get on and request Jay Hollis from anywhere in the world! Thanks again for everyone who has requested. Please keep em' coming and I'll scoot right up the charts!

More Radio Tour!

I just got home last night from driving 1800 miles through Texas. The funny part is that I hardly covered a fraction of this huge state. I went as far west as Hobbs, NM and as far south as Fredricksburg, TX. It was a great week and I feel like I was welcomed everywhere I went. Thank you to all of the stations and DJ's for being so nice to me. I had some great interviews and really got to tell my story to the listeners. I took Cory, my guitar player, with me and we got to play some songs acoustic on the air. Hopefully this push will help my song move up the charts!

Check out the website to see photos from the trip. Some of the stations have added my interview to their Facebook. I will let you know which ones have done that. I made a lot of friends along the way and had a lot of fun and I can't wait to go out again. Please request "One More Day" at your radio station and help me move up the Texas Music Charts!
